The Opportunity:

We are seeking an outstanding EYFS and Key Stage One Learning Assistant to support students in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. This role is essential in fostering student development and ensuring a positive educational experience for young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in Early Years and Key Stage 1 through personalized learning interventions.
  • Deliver phonics-based instruction and support English Language Learners (ELL).
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement inclusive learning strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with parents to build strong partnerships.
  • Maintain high standards of organization and communication in all aspects of the role.
  • Assist in planning and delivering activities that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Promote a positive and motivating learning environment for all students.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Minimum A-Level or equivalent (MOFA attested).
  • Experience working with children of varying abilities, ages, and with special educational needs.
  • Essential experience in Early Years and Key Stage 1 settings.
  • Ability to plan and deliver targeted interventions, with a focus on phonics and ELL support.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A self-aware, reflective, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.

Preferred

  • Experience in an international educational setting.
  • Previous teaching or teaching assistant experience.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for England.
