The Opportunity:

We are seeking an EYFS and KS1 Phase Leader to lead and develop a key phase within the school. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EYFS and KS1 phase, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support student progress and achievement.
  • Monitor and assess student performance to ensure all pupils receive the support they need.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and other stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values the well-being of all students.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of the school and the wider Federation.
  • Ensure that all activities align with the school’s mission and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in EYFS and KS1 education.
  • Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of early years and primary curriculum requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a phase or subject area within a school.
  • Familiarity with the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools.
  • Experience in developing and delivering CPD programmes.
  • Experience in working with diverse student needs and backgrounds.
