The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Class Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic team. The role focuses on delivering high-quality education and ensuring strong pupil progress and attainment, particularly in Year 6.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured and inclusive lessons that promote strong pupil progress
  • Use assessment effectively to inform teaching and improve outcomes for all students
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high expectations and consistency
  • Contribute to the development of teaching and learning across the school
  • Ensure pupils achieve strong outcomes at the end of Key Stage 2
  • Demonstrate high expectations for all pupils and maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Support the inclusion of all students, including those with additional learning needs
  • Participate in the school’s culture of continuous professional development and innovation

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2, ideally in Upper Key Stage 2 or Year 6
  • Proven track record of securing strong pupil progress and attainment
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and end of KS2 assessment
  • Ability to deliver engaging, inclusive and effective lessons
  • Commitment to working collaboratively within a supportive team

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience in inclusive education settings
  • Leadership or mentoring experience
  • Experience with curriculum development or innovation in teaching
