EYFS KS1 Tutor needed in Arsenal with SEN experience.

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced EYFS KS1 Tutor to provide one-on-one support to students in the Arsenal area. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners, particularly those with special educational needs, through a flexible and rewarding tutoring arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualised tuition to EYFS and KS1 students
- Support students with special educational needs using the Bright Heart Approach
- Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and other stakeholders
- Follow safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance teaching practices
- Maintain accurate records and report progress regularly
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the unique learning needs of each student
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students and their families
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- At least 12 months of relevant tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong subject knowledge in EYFS and KS1 curriculum areas
- University qualification or currently studying towards one
- A current Enhanced DBS certificate (with children’s barred list check)
- Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
Preferred
- Experience with the Bright Heart Approach or similar student-centred methodologies
- Previous experience with students lacking confidence or motivation
- Flexibility to work both in-person and online
- Familiarity with study techniques and transition support for students
