Summary:

Pre-EYFS Tutor required in Reading with experience in SEN support.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pre-EYFS Tutor to provide high-quality support to young learners in the Reading area. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to working with students with special educational needs and has a strong command of English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons tailored to the needs of Pre-EYFS students
  • Support students with special educational needs using the Bright Heart Approach
  • Communicate regularly with parents and education consultants to track student progress
  • Follow safeguarding and child protection policies at all times
  • Provide feedback and insights to help shape individual learning plans
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
  • Work flexibly with a range of clients, including schools, local authorities, and private families

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • At least 12 months of relevant tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong subject knowledge in Pre-EYFS curriculum
  • Current Enhanced DBS certificate (with children’s barred list check)
  • University qualification or studying towards one and A-levels
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)

Preferred

  • Experience with the Bright Heart Approach or similar student-centred teaching methods
  • Previous experience in SEN tuition or teaching
  • Flexibility to work in-person or online
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for working with young learners and those with learning challenges
