The Opportunity:
We are seeking an EYFS Practitioner to join our pre-school team and support high-quality teaching, learning, and care for our youngest learners. This is a year-round, part-time role offering a supportive and dynamic working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality early years education in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, and academic skills through play-based learning.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain detailed records of children’s progress and development.
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for all children.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure consistent and effective practice across the nursery.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure the environment is clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.
- Experience working with 3-year-olds in an early years setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Excellent literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
- Flexibility and reliability to work across all 52 weeks of the year.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Catholic or faith-based educational setting.
- Experience with child-led learning and play-based pedagogy.
- Previous experience in a nursery or pre-school environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary between £24k and £25.5k (dependent on experience).
