The Opportunity:

As a School Site Manager, you will oversee the operation of school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for students and staff. This role is vital in supporting the smooth running of the school and contributing to the overall success of the institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain school buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.
• Coordinate with contractors and external service providers to ensure effective maintenance and repairs.
• Liaise with the Senior Operations Officer to plan and manage budgets and maintenance schedules.
• Supervise and support site staff, ensuring they are effectively deployed and trained.
• Attend required training courses, including Health and Safety, IOSH, and First Aid.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in a school setting.
• Be available to work outside of normal hours, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
• Support the school in the deployment of facilities and resources for daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Experience in line management or supervisory roles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work to tight deadlines
• Understanding of health and safety in a school environment

Preferred

• Previous experience in site management or facilities management
• Experience with school operations or educational institutions
• Knowledge of maintenance and building management systems
