The Opportunity:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners and contribute to a school known for its pastoral care and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across the curriculum
• Plan and prepare engaging and challenging teaching strategies for EYFS pupils
• Work closely with parallel teachers in a 2-form Year Group
• Teach phonics using the Read Write Inc program
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress and development
• Maintain up to date displays and resources to support learning
• Implement the school’s behaviour policy and positive reward system
• Supervise pupils during break times and after-school activities
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Early Years Foundation Stage
• Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum and pedagogy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience with the Read Write Inc phonics program
• Experience working in a co-educational independent school
• Familiarity with ISAMs or similar pupil tracking systems
• Experience in leading or running after-school clubs
