The Opportunity:

As a SEND Tutor, you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of students with special educational needs. You will deliver tailored support and guidance, helping them achieve their full potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person and online tuition to children and young people with SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver bespoke lessons that are engaging and tailored to individual learning styles.
• Set and monitor SMART targets to track student progress and achievement.
• Develop interventions that support both academic and emotional well-being.
• Ensure the safety and welfare of students by following safeguarding procedures.
• Report regularly on attendance, progress, and behaviour.
• Conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe learning environment.
• Attend multi-agency meetings and participate in staff development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant classroom experience.
• Proven experience working with students with SEND in primary, secondary, or college settings.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and creating a safe learning environment.
• Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Preferred

• Experience with online tutoring platforms.
• Experience in designing and implementing individual learning plans.
• Experience with multi-agency collaboration and support planning.

Compensation & Benefits:
