The Opportunity:

As a Finance Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial health of the school. You will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, supporting the school’s operations and enabling it to focus on its mission of providing high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the purchase ledger
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations
  • Coordinate payment runs efficiently
  • Monitor and maintain stationery stock levels
  • Handle petty cash transactions with care
  • Assist with billing and invoicing processes
  • Support financial reporting and audits as required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector
  • Familiarity with school financial processes
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting
