The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons that engage and inspire students.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that meets the needs of all learners.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve departmental teaching and learning strategies.
- Participate in shared planning sessions to enhance curriculum delivery and reduce workload.
- Support the school’s extra-curricular programme through timetabled clubs and activities.
- Promote the school’s values and Catholic ethos within the classroom and wider school community.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of students in all aspects of teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Food Technology.
- Experience in teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Commitment to the school’s Catholic values and ethos.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
Preferred
- Experience with instructional coaching or CPD delivery.
- Background in pastoral care or student support.
- Experience in extra-curricular planning or leadership.
- Familiarity with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions document.
