The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging, culturally rich lessons that develop student confidence and fluency.
- Promote positive behaviour and support student personal development and progress.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning experience.
- Support students in making successful transitions to further study, employment, or university.
- Stay up to date with curriculum developments and industry trends in MFL education.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and achievement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant degree in French or Spanish.
- Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd).
- Experience teaching French and/or Spanish (AQA specification).
- Ability to deliver high-quality lessons and assessments.
- Proven record of strong student achievement.
- Experience teaching a range of modules in both French and Spanish.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing innovative teaching strategies.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for language learning.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary range of £29,374 to £44,218 per annum, pro rata.
- 49 days holiday per year, inclusive of bank holidays and closure days.
