The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Law Teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This role is ideal for someone who is dedicated to delivering high-quality education and supporting students in achieving their full potential. The position will run until May 2027 and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality A Level Law and BTEC Applied Law courses to students.
• Support students in achieving academic success and building confidence.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs and ensure student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
• Participate in staff development and training initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and report student progress to relevant stakeholders.
• Contribute to the overall success of the institution through innovation and teamwork.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A degree in a relevant subject.
• A professional subject qualification at Level 4 or above.
• A Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd).
• Recent experience delivering A Level Law and BTEC Applied Law.
• Strong track record of student achievement and engagement.
• Ability to teach modules across other areas of Law as required.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching in a further education setting.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and collaborate with colleagues.
