The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach French to students across the Senior School, including GCSE and A level classes.
- Inspire students to develop fluency, confidence, and an appreciation for French-speaking cultures.
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity and a deeper understanding of global perspectives.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of enrichment activities, trips, and cultural events.
- Support students in achieving academic success and preparing for examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best approaches.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of the curriculum.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in teaching French.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach French across the Senior School.
- Experience in delivering engaging and effective classroom teaching.
- Commitment to student progress and achievement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching at GCSE and A level.
- Involvement in extracurricular activities or cultural events.
- Experience with modern teaching methods and technologies.
- Familiarity with the diamond model of teaching.
