The Opportunity:

As a Sixth Form Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the Sixth Form and ensuring students receive the highest level of administrative support at this crucial stage of their education. This is a dynamic and impactful position within a progressive and supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain high standards of administrative support for Sixth Form students and staff.
  • Coordinate and support the smooth running of daily Sixth Form operations, including timetables, events, and communications.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and external partners to ensure clarity and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school to contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes to enhance outcomes for students and staff.
  • Support the administration team in ensuring all administrative functions are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Contribute positively to the school’s culture by demonstrating integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to the school’s values.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with school policies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a demanding workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative in improving processes.
  • Commitment to the school’s values, including integrity, compassion, and emotional intelligence.

Preferred

  • Experience in supporting Sixth Form students or working within a post-16 environment.
  • Knowledge of educational systems and processes, including student progression and welfare.
  • Experience with administrative software and systems.
  • A passion for education and a desire to make a meaningful impact on student success.
