Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality A-Level and Further Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and progression.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous professional development.
  • Participate in curriculum planning and contribute to the school’s academic vision and goals.
  • Support students in developing the skills needed for further study and future careers.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect and resilience.
  • Engage with parents and external partners to enhance student learning and opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in teaching A-Level and Further Maths.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
  • Proven track record in motivating and inspiring students to achieve their best.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a Multi-Academy Trust or similar educational setting.
  • Background in leading or contributing to CPD initiatives.
  • Familiarity with STEM-related industries and employer partnerships.
  • Experience with using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
