Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality tuition in Maths, English, and Science to GCSE-level students
• Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and those requiring additional academic guidance

• Maintain detailed records of student progress and tailor learning plans accordingly
• Communicate regularly with parents, schools, and other stakeholders
• Attend ongoing training and professional development opportunities

• Provide feedback and recommendations to improve student outcomes

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• At least 12 months of relevant tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and Science
• University qualification or currently studying towards one, along with A-levels
• Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
• Current Enhanced DBS certificate with a check of the children’s barred list
• 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference

Preferred

• Experience with the National Tutoring Programme (NTP)
• Familiarity with study techniques and transition support for students
• Experience with online and in-person tutoring
• Passion for working with students lacking confidence or motivation
