Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography to all year groups, including GCSE and A Level, to a high standard.
  • Deliver engaging and innovative lessons that stimulate student interest and achievement.

  • Support the development of students’ academic and personal skills through effective teaching and pastoral care.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Geography and education practice.
  • Prepare and deliver lesson plans that align with curriculum requirements and student needs.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Geography.
  • Strong subject knowledge across all aspects of Geography.
  • Proven ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Experience teaching GCSE and A Level Geography.

Preferred

  • Experience in a selective or high-achieving school environment.
