Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of physical and human geography, environmental systems, and global challenges.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and promote cross-subject learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong background in Geography.
  • Experience teaching Geography across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Passionate about inspiring students and fostering a love for Geography.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Commitment to inclusion, student wellbeing, and professional development.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or supporting departmental development.
  • Familiarity with modern pedagogical approaches and technology in the classroom.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
