The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Geography Teacher to join our expanding Humanities team. This role offers the opportunity to shape a dynamic and impactful Geography curriculum within a progressive STEM environment. The successful candidate will inspire students with engaging, intellectually stimulating lessons that develop critical thinking and prepare them for future success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a high-quality, innovative Geography curriculum aligned with STEM principles.
  • Foster student engagement through interactive, real-world learning experiences.
  • Support student progress through effective assessment, feedback, and differentiated instruction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall Humanities department and school-wide educational vision.
  • Mentor and guide students, encouraging personal growth and academic excellence.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous learning.
  • Promote the school’s values and mission through teaching and student interactions.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Geography education and integrate new teaching methodologies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Geography education at Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality, student-centered lessons.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography.
  • Experience in teaching A-Level Geography is highly desirable.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with STEM-integrated teaching approaches.
  • Experience with pastoral care or student mentorship.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
