Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the Edexcel B specification.
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
• Collaborate with the Head of Geography to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching and learning.
• Contribute to the development of the department and the wider school community.
• Support and lead extracurricular activities in Geography.
• Engage in continuous professional development and leadership opportunities.
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
• Participate in school-wide initiatives and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography.
• Experience in teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality education and student success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience in leading or contributing to extracurricular Geography activities.
• Experience with the Edexcel B specification.
• Experience in a school with a strong academic tradition.
• Experience in a newly opened or rapidly expanding school.
