Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Support the development of students’ academic and personal skills.

  • Work closely with pastoral teams to ensure a holistic approach to student support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in History or a related subject.
  • Proven experience in teaching Humanities (History) at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering innovative curriculum content.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in extracurricular or enrichment activities.
