Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Geography lessons that align with the curriculum and promote student engagement.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through individualized guidance and academic mentoring.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the wider college community through enrichment activities and extracurricular programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a strong academic background in Geography.
  • Experience in teaching Geography at A Level or equivalent.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and support students effectively.

Preferred

  • Experience with early career teacher support programs.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in curriculum development or subject leadership.
  • Passion for Geography and a commitment to inspiring student interest in the subject.
