The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to inspire and educate highly motivated students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
• Develop challenging and thought-provoking curricula that encourage creativity and collaboration.
• Prepare and deliver GCSE and A Level Geography courses with a focus on student engagement and academic achievement.
• Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Work as part of a team to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
• Maintain excellent classroom management and behaviour standards.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
• Ability to deliver GCSE and A Level Geography courses.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Preferred

• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Willingness to teach a second subject, such as Environmental Science, Economics, History, or Religious Studies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in a school with a strong academic focus and high expectations.
