The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to inspire and educate highly motivated students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5. This role offers the chance to deliver creative and engaging lessons that challenge and inspire pupils. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Geography lessons to Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 students.
- Develop challenging and thought-provoking curricula that encourage creativity and collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver GCSE and A Level Geography courses with a focus on student engagement and academic achievement.
- Support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Work as part of a team to ensure a consistent and high standard of teaching and learning.
- Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and behaviour standards.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree in Geography or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
- Ability to deliver GCSE and A Level Geography courses.
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Willingness to teach a second subject, such as Environmental Science, Economics, History, or Religious Studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school with a strong academic focus and high expectations.
