Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Travel & Tourism and Geography.
- Develop a stimulating curriculum that fosters students’ understanding of global issues and geographical concepts.
- Inspire students to develop a passion for travel and exploration.
- Contribute to the curriculum through fieldwork and extracurricular activities.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Humanities department to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support students in achieving academic success and personal growth.
- Stay up to date with developments in the field of Geography and Travel & Tourism.
- Participate in the wider life of the school and contribute to its continued success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Geography and Travel & Tourism.
- Experience in delivering engaging and innovative lessons at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student success and personal development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience with fieldwork and extracurricular activities.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Experience with teaching in a multi-academy trust or similar setting.
