Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and innovative Geography lessons to students across all key stages
  • Teach KS3 History (desirable but not essential)
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of geographical concepts and skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement a dynamic curriculum
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge
  • Experience teaching Geography at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Commitment to student well-being and inclusive education
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience teaching KS3 History
  • A passion for Geography and a creative approach to teaching
  • Experience with A-level Geography
  • Familiarity with the school’s values and ethos
  • Experience in curriculum development
