The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Maths Teacher to join our experienced department. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching and assessment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic Maths curriculum
- Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted feedback and support
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning strategies
- Engage in Continuing Professional Development to maintain and enhance teaching skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
- Support the school’s vision by promoting the seven school virtues and encouraging personal responsibility and self-improvement
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to student-centred learning and professional development
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Preferred
- Experience teaching A-Level Maths
- Previous experience with Continuing Professional Development
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies
- Experience working in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos
