The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Maths Teacher to join our experienced department. The role involves delivering high-quality teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through differentiated teaching and assessment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement a dynamic Maths curriculum
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing targeted feedback and support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning strategies
  • Engage in Continuing Professional Development to maintain and enhance teaching skills
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success
  • Support the school’s vision by promoting the seven school virtues and encouraging personal responsibility and self-improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and QTS
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Commitment to student-centred learning and professional development
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience teaching A-Level Maths
  • Previous experience with Continuing Professional Development
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies
  • Experience working in a school with a strong pastoral care ethos
