Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science and Computer Science lessons to Key Stage 3 students
• Foster a classroom culture that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and practical investigation
• Develop and implement engaging, inclusive, and innovative lesson plans
• Support students in developing digital literacy, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
• Participate in the ongoing professional development of the department
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continued improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Science and/or Computer Science
• Strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum and teaching methodologies
• Commitment to student-centered learning and inclusion
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience with Key Stage 3 teaching
• Background in delivering Computer Science education
• Experience with Continuing Professional Development
• Familiarity with state-of-the-art science and computer facilities
