The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students at KS3, GCSE, and A-level, while contributing to a team that values creativity and professional development. Computer Science experience is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of Computer Science where appropriate.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics and Computer Science education.
  • Support students in developing the skills and confidence needed for academic and personal success.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3, GCSE, and A-level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Computer Science or related subjects.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
  • Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
