The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students at KS3, GCSE, and A-level, while contributing to a team that values creativity and professional development. Computer Science experience is desirable but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students at all levels.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student learning and achievement.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of Computer Science where appropriate.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students as needed.
- Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics and Computer Science education.
- Support students in developing the skills and confidence needed for academic and personal success.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at KS3, GCSE, and A-level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Computer Science or related subjects.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
- Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment programs.
