Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students who are at the early stage of learning English to engage with learning.
  • Assist in developing strategies that address barriers to learning.
  • Work closely with the inclusion team to ensure students make good progress.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to provide targeted support to students.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
  • Support the delivery of school initiatives and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A graduate degree or currently studying for one.
  • A commitment to supporting students with learning English.
  • A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students who are learning English as an additional language.
  • Knowledge of inclusive education strategies.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Familiarity with teaching and learning support practices.
