As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with physical disabilities, ensuring they can access learning with dignity and confidence. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with physical disabilities, ensuring full access to the curriculum
• Deliver personal and intimate care in a respectful, sensitive, and confidential manner
• Promote pupils’ independence, self-esteem, and social inclusion
• Support pupils individually and in small groups, both in and out of the classroom
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and use of specialist equipment as required
• Manage and support pupil behaviour to maintain a safe and constructive learning environment
• Respond proactively to pupils’ needs, questions, and requests for help
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting pupils with additional needs

Required

• Committed and reliable team player
• Willingness to undertake relevant training related to physical disability and personal care

Preferred

• Experience working with pupils with physical disabilities
• Background in education or care support
• Experience with personal and intimate care procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
