The Opportunity:

As a Graduate Assistant, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the life of a school community, gaining valuable experience in a specific department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of a boarding house and the Sports Department.
  • Assist in the delivery of a wide range of co-curricular activities and events.
  • Engage with students, staff, and parents to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
  • Contribute to the pastoral care and well-being of students within the boarding community.
  • Collaborate with departmental staff to enhance student experiences and outcomes.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the school.
  • Promote a culture of safety, inclusivity, and high standards in all aspects of school life.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through active participation in its community and programmes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to live in shared accommodation on campus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Preferred

  • Experience in an educational or pastoral setting.
