Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Hair and Beauty lessons to Key Stage 4 students, ensuring a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
• Lead and manage the Hair and Beauty course, including the development of lesson plans and resources.
• Support students in achieving their full potential, with a focus on personal development and practical skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver Design and Technology lessons at Key Stage 3, where applicable.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture, aligned with the school’s values of respect and optimism.
• Participate in professional development and training initiatives to enhance teaching practice.
• Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral support.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Hair and Beauty or a related subject.
• Strong knowledge of vocational qualifications and teaching strategies.
• Commitment to inclusive education and social mobility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering vocational courses at Key Stage 4.
• Experience with Design and Technology at Key Stage 3.
• Experience in safeguarding and working with young people.
• Familiarity with industry-standard practices in Hair and Beauty.
