The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach science to students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels
• Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that promote student achievement
• Support the development of students’ scientific knowledge and skills
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and curriculum delivery
• Monitor and assess student progress effectively
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities
• Contribute to extracurricular activities related to science
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A relevant science degree or equivalent qualification
• Experience teaching science at Key Stage 3 and GCSE level
• Commitment to student success and social mobility
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with inclusive teaching strategies
• Previous experience in a school setting
• Familiarity with the Halliard Trust or similar educational organizations
• Demonstrated ability to support students with special educational needs
