The Opportunity:

As the Head of Apprenticeships, you will lead the development and delivery of high-quality apprenticeship programs, driving strategic growth and innovation. This is a key leadership role for someone passionate about skills development, employer engagement, and transforming lives through education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a new Apprenticeship Strategy to drive growth and impact.
  • Build and maintain strong employer partnerships across multiple sectors.
  • Translate labour market demand into viable apprenticeship opportunities.
  • Lead commercial development and revenue growth in apprenticeship programs.
  • Collaborate with academic and business teams to deliver outstanding outcomes.
  • Ensure apprenticeships consistently achieve measurable impact and success.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Support the continuous improvement of apprenticeship delivery and quality.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven success in employer engagement and stakeholder management.
  • Strong track record in driving revenue growth in a B2B or education setting.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
  • Experience working within complex organisations and academic teams.
  • Strong relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Passion for skills development and apprenticeships.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering apprenticeship programs.
  • Background in education or training sector leadership.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks and industry standards.
  • Experience with strategic planning and innovation in education.
