The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified IT Teacher to join our team and support students in vocational and T Level courses within the Creative & Digital Pathway. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practitioner to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and innovative learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach vocational and T Level IT courses within the Creative & Digital Pathway.
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in Computer Science, Python programming, and BTEC Level 3 (RQF).
  • Support students in achieving the highest grades through engaging and industry-aligned teaching.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
  • Stay up to date with the latest IT hardware, software, and industry standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the IT department and wider college initiatives.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
  • Participate in staff development and professional learning opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified to degree level with an appropriate teaching qualification.
  • Experience in teaching Computer Science, Python programming, and BTEC Level 3 (RQF).
  • Ability to deliver high-quality vocational and T Level courses.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.

Preferred

  • Industry experience in IT or related fields.
  • Experience teaching T Levels.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students and colleagues.
  • Experience working in a Sixth Form College or FE College setting.
