Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver a dynamic and engaging drama curriculum.
  • Lead and manage a team of drama teachers and support staff.
  • Coordinate and supervise drama productions and performances.
  • Foster student creativity, confidence, and performance skills.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate drama across the curriculum.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students during all drama-related activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and achievement in drama.
  • Promote drama and the arts through extracurricular events and school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a drama or arts department.
  • Strong teaching experience in drama at the senior school level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement creative curricula.
  • Commitment to student well-being and holistic education.

Preferred

  • Experience in directing and producing drama performances.
  • Knowledge of drama techniques and pedagogical approaches.
  • Familiarity with drama and performance in a school setting.
  • Experience in working with diverse student groups.
