Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a strong, motivated Geography team
• Deliver high-quality lessons across all Key Stages
• Manage and monitor student progress and attainment
• Support the professional development of staff within the department
• Collaborate with other subject leaders to enhance curriculum delivery
• Ensure effective use of ICT and other resources in teaching
• Maintain excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience in teaching across all Key Stages
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Excellent ICT skills
• Ability to lead and build a team

Preferred

• Experience in a leadership or middle leadership role
• Background in curriculum development
• Experience in safeguarding and promoting student welfare
• Commitment to evidence-informed teaching practices
