Located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, the school offers a British curriculum from early years to Year 13. It is deeply rooted in Emirati values and serves a predominantly Emirati student population.

The Opportunity:

As the Head of Inclusion, you will lead the school’s efforts to promote inclusion and support students with special educational needs. This role is critical to ensuring all students have access to high-quality education and personalized support. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and encourage inclusion across all levels of the school
• Support and guide staff in implementing SEN and inclusion strategies
• Line manage staff employed to support children with special needs
• Maintain accurate records, IEPs, and coordinate care plans
• Review assessment data to identify areas for targeted intervention
• Deliver training to colleagues, families, and external stakeholders
• Provide induction and training for the Inclusion team and assistants
• Co-teach to support differentiated lessons with class/subject teachers

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with SEN qualification (Master's level or equivalent certification)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in SEN or learning support
• Previous experience in leading SEN/Learning Support in a primary or secondary school

Preferred

• Experience in maintaining accurate SEN registers and developing high-quality IEPs
• Ability to identify a range of need types and development delays
• Experience in administering standardized assessments
• Proven ability to deliver intervention programmes and measure effectiveness
• Strong data analysis skills to monitor student progress and attainment
