  • Provide strategic leadership to specialist staff and support their professional development.
  • Monitor pupil progress and evaluate the impact of interventions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Engage effectively with families, multi-agency partners, and contribute to borough-wide SEND strategy.
  • Lead annual reviews, transition processes, and admissions to the Resource Base in line with statutory processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Confidence in leading and developing a specialist team.
  • Experience advising colleagues on inclusive practice and reasonable adjustments.

Preferred

  • Experience of working in a resource base or specialist setting.
  • Experience delivering autism-specific training and leading whole-school SEND development.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Senior leadership role with genuine strategic influence.
  • Opportunity to lead and further develop an established specialist provision.
  • Professional autonomy within a supportive and ambitious leadership culture.
