The Opportunity:

As the Head of Student Experience, you will play a key role in shaping the student and employee experience at the City Hub. This is an impactful interim role that offers the chance to lead and innovate in a dynamic and supportive environment, while making a real difference to students’ lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set the standards of behaviour required to provide a positive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement whole college plans, initiatives, and strategies to improve student behaviour.
  • Promote non-discriminatory behaviour and ensure equality and diversity are sustained across the institution.
  • Oversee attendance for the campus and work with curriculum and pastoral leads to review and implement improvement strategies.
  • Review outcomes from the college’s student voice and collaborate with tutorial teams to improve provision.
  • Maintain the highest quality student experience and foster a strong sense of community.
  • Support the development of sustainable relationships with support services to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven managerial experience in an educational setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a varied curriculum and deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Experience in working with support services to improve student outcomes.
  • Data insight skills to contribute to operational effectiveness.

Preferred

  • Experience in curriculum development and innovation.
  • Background in promoting equality and diversity in educational settings.
  • Experience in student behaviour management and attendance improvement strategies.
  • Familiarity with the use of student voice data to inform provision.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of £49,255 to £57,678 per annum.
