The Opportunity:

A Learning Support Assistant is required to support the needs of pupils joining the school. This role plays a vital part in helping students achieve their full potential and working closely with teachers and parents to ensure a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in achieving their academic and personal goals.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and parents to develop individual learning plans.
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance in a structured and supportive environment.
• Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
• Assist in the delivery of lessons and activities tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A minimum of Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education.
• Relevant experience supporting students to achieve their potential.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Experience working with children in a school setting.
• Knowledge of inclusive education practices.
• Experience with pastoral care and student welfare.
