Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achievement.
  • Promote high standards of attendance, academic progress, and behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and pastoral care to students in line with school values.
  • Monitor and report on student performance and progress regularly.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to support student development and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in a similar role within education.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and support students with diverse needs.
  • Understanding of student behaviour and pastoral care.
  • Commitment to promoting high standards of attendance and academic achievement.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience with student welfare and support strategies.
  • Familiarity with the use of educational technology and data systems.
