Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and achievement.
- Promote high standards of attendance, academic progress, and behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
- Provide guidance and pastoral care to students in line with school values.
- Monitor and report on student performance and progress regularly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student engagement and motivation.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
- Liaise with parents and carers to support student development and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a similar role within education.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and support students with diverse needs.
- Understanding of student behaviour and pastoral care.
- Commitment to promoting high standards of attendance and academic achievement.
Preferred
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Experience with student welfare and support strategies.
- Familiarity with the use of educational technology and data systems.
