The Opportunity:

As the Head's PA and SCR Champion, you will play a vital role in supporting the Headteacher and ensuring effective communication across the school. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safeguarding and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver internal and external communications to ensure consistency and clarity.
  • Provide a professional and welcoming front office experience for all visitors and staff.
  • Act as the SCR Champion, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Undertake administrative duties related to SCR procedures and reporting.
  • Support the Headteacher in managing the school's communication strategy and service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
  • Liaise with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding and wellbeing across the school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in an educational setting, preferably in a senior administrative role.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school leadership or support role.
  • Familiarity with SCR processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and parents.
  • Experience in using school management systems and office software.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary of £32,000 depending on experience.
