The Opportunity:
As the Head's PA and SCR Champion, you will play a vital role in supporting the Headteacher and ensuring effective communication across the school. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education, with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to safeguarding and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver internal and external communications to ensure consistency and clarity.
- Provide a professional and welcoming front office experience for all visitors and staff.
- Act as the SCR Champion, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and child protection policies.
- Undertake administrative duties related to SCR procedures and reporting.
- Support the Headteacher in managing the school's communication strategy and service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and external agencies to ensure smooth operations.
- Promote a culture of safeguarding and wellbeing across the school community.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written and verbal communication.
- Experience in an educational setting, preferably in a senior administrative role.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience in a school leadership or support role.
- Familiarity with SCR processes and compliance requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with staff and parents.
- Experience in using school management systems and office software.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £32,000 depending on experience.
- 52 weeks contract with 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
