Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a dedicated teaching and support staff team to deliver high-quality education.
  • Develop and implement strategies to raise academic standards and improve student outcomes.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive school culture that reflects the diversity of the community.
  • Work closely with the Governing Body to ensure the school's strategic vision is realized.
  • Manage school operations, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Promote strong community engagement and partnership with parents and local stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the professional development of staff and encourage innovation in teaching and learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or in a senior leadership role within a large school.
  • Demonstrated success in raising standards and improving student achievement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of educational policies, curriculum development, and school governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience working in a diverse, inclusive school environment.
  • Familiarity with modern educational practices and innovation in teaching.
  • Experience in leading school improvement initiatives or Ofsted inspections.
  • Strong track record in community engagement and stakeholder collaboration.
