The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the teaching and learning of students with autism across key stages, including KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- Deliver individualised and curriculum-based programmes in line with students’ EHCPs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of inclusive provision and interventions.
- Promote a culture of high expectations and inclusion.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through tailored support and guidance.
- Participate in staff development and training opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant experience working with students with autism or additional needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inclusion and high expectations for all students.
- Ability to work flexibly and as part of a team.
- Experience in delivering individualised learning programmes.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching or supporting students with special educational needs.
- Familiarity with National Curriculum subjects and Study Programmes for Post-16 students.
- Experience with EHCPs and individualised learning plans.
- Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and interventions.
- Experience in a school setting with a strong focus on pastoral care.
