Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality English lessons to students across key stages.
  • Collaborate with the English team and wider SEN team to ensure inclusive and effective teaching practices.
  • Model excellent teaching and learning practices consistently.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and assessment of student work.
  • Provide individual and group support to students, helping them reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative and engaging learning resources.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities within the school and across the Trust.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Relevant teaching or learning support qualification.
  • Proven experience in delivering English provision at a high standard.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience working with students with additional needs.
  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in English teaching.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
