Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of high-quality English lessons to students across key stages.
- Collaborate with the English team and wider SEN team to ensure inclusive and effective teaching practices.
- Model excellent teaching and learning practices consistently.
- Assist in the planning, preparation, and assessment of student work.
- Provide individual and group support to students, helping them reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and engaging learning resources.
- Participate in professional development opportunities within the school and across the Trust.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Relevant teaching or learning support qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering English provision at a high standard.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working with students with additional needs.
- Experience in a school or educational setting.
- Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in English teaching.
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment strategies.
