Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Religious Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Support students and staff in their faith journey within a welcoming and creative environment.
- Contribute to the development of a contemporary and innovative RE curriculum.
- Inspire students through passionate and effective classroom practice.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental performance and student outcomes.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and improve teaching standards.
- Promote the values of respect, responsibility, and ambition throughout the school community.
- Participate in school-wide initiatives and pastoral care activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Religious Education.
- Strong classroom management and teaching skills.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos and values of the school.
- Proven ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Experience in delivering curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting.
- Background in pastoral care or faith-based education.
- Familiarity with Catholic teaching and doctrine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
