Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in achieving excellent academic results, including preparing Oxbridge applicants.
• Contribute to the development of the department’s co-curricular provision.
• Promote a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and progressive curriculum.
• Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and professional development.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly.
• Maintain accurate records and report student performance effectively.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a strong academic background in History.
• Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.
• Commitment to student achievement and high standards of teaching.
• Ability to develop and deliver engaging lessons.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Preferred

• Experience in preparing students for Oxbridge applications.
• Leadership or mentoring experience within a school setting.
• Experience with co-curricular activities and extra-curricular provision.
