Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support teaching and learning across the school
  • Deliver high-quality lessons and activities that promote student engagement and progress
  • Supervise and manage classes with confidence and professionalism
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student achievement
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans where needed
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Take an active role in the school’s extracurricular activities
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Preferred

  • Experience in leading a team or mentoring other staff
  • Background in early years education or primary teaching
  • Familiarity with the school’s vision of “Learn, Create, Grow Together”
  • Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning
