Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support teaching and learning across the school
- Deliver high-quality lessons and activities that promote student engagement and progress
- Supervise and manage classes with confidence and professionalism
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student achievement
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans where needed
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Take an active role in the school’s extracurricular activities
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Preferred
- Experience in leading a team or mentoring other staff
- Background in early years education or primary teaching
- Familiarity with the school’s vision of “Learn, Create, Grow Together”
- Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning
